Coming from a rural farming background myself it was apparent that the connection between urban and rural environments could be improved. The farming sector is one often occupied by generational familes rather that first time farmers, this is great but can lead to a lack of diversity within a community, so this project aims to educate and equip people with knowledge through establishing connections. Connections between the farmers themselves and the general public. The other side objective is to tackle loneliess within rural communities, A QR code sticker will be placed on milk cartons, once scanned the viewer will be linked to a website where they will be shown the region in which the milk has been produced. Another tab will show a commnuity notice board, in which the local community is envited to post about any local news and events taking place. The design itself is made to look like farmyard dockets and newspapers.
