A book project that explores memory through objects, and their ability to facilitate memories. Choosing universal objects that cross borders, existing in various landscapes but taking slightly different forms. Specifically, I look at windows, bodies of water, and food/food objects, focusing on their nostalgic aspects to teleport us to a memory from the past. Specifically drawing on my own experiences of living in South Korea.
Using only found images from my camera roll to crop and curate a narrative, drawing connections from each place. Accompanied with a soundtrack to each section for a fully emersive experience and a promotional poster. This project involved extensive research with a supporting 5000-word document.
